Precious metals refining

JSC “Krastsvetmet” applies its own original highly effective piro- and hydrometallurgical methods of raw concentrating, precious metals dissolution, various techniques of group and selective separation of valuable components, regeneration of the main process reagents and industrial wastes treatment.

Most technological procedures are based on the original, reliable and highly efficient equipment designed at JSC “Krastsvetmet”. This enables to extract metals at lowest concentration levels from any raw material. Sampling schemes are being constantly improved.

Our plant’s researchers constantly contribute to technological development processes.  JSC “Krastsvetmet” has its own research and development facilities. Effective new raw materials processing, improving of the existing technologies, developing conditions for reagents reutilization, refined metals quality upgrading, development and implementation of new technologies of fine metals production, designing and launching of innovative equipment - these are the major activities of the Research Division.

Production technologies developed at JSC “Krastsvetmet” uniquely combine classical refining methods with new approaches to processes implementation and ensure high quality production. 

At present JSC “Krastsvetmet” processes 48% of gold produced in Russia. The plant cooperates with more than 150 mining enterprises from 11 regions of Russia. Gold is produced in standard bars, calibrated cast bars and minted bars.
