Vladimir N. Gulidov
Vladimir N. Gulidov had been working at Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant since 1966; during his carrier he was promoted from a foreman to Director General (1988); Author of 89 scientific publications including 76 inventions in platinum metals, gold and silver production. Many of his innovative ideas regarding platinum metals, gold and silver refining technology development and improvement, as well as and special refining equipment were implemented at the plant.
He was awarded the State Prize (1984) for his new materials production technology; he was a member of International Informatization Academy (1993); correspondent member of Russian Academy of Engineering (1996).
After his tragic death on April 17 1999 on the initiative of the company workers JSC Krastsvetmet was named after V.N. Gulidov.
